Ingredients (Makes 4 rolls)
For Filling
- 250 g Button mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 Large onion (sliced)
- 1 Capsicum (sliced, optional)
- 2 Tomatoes (finely chopped or pureed)
- 2 Green chilies (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp Oil / Butter
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
Spice Powders
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Pav Bhaji masala (optional, for street-style flavor)
For Wraps
- 4 Roti / Paratha / Tortilla wraps
- 2 tbsp Butter (for toasting)
- 2 tbsp Green chutney (mint-coriander)
- 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise (optional)
- Chaat masala for sprinkling

Prepare Filling:
- Heat oil/butter in a pan.
- Add onions & green chilies, sauté till translucent.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, fry till raw smell goes.
- Add tomatoes & cook until mushy.
- Add turmeric, chili, coriander powder, pav bhaji masala, and salt. Cook well.
- Add sliced mushrooms (and capsicum). Sauté on high flame until mushrooms are cooked and masala is dry.
- Sprinkle garam masala, lemon juice & coriander. Mix well.

Prepare Wraps:
- Heat roti/paratha with butter until slightly crisp.
- Spread a little green chutney, ketchup, and mayo (if using).

Assemble Frankie:
- Place mushroom filling in the center of the wrap.
- Sprinkle some raw onion slices & chaat masala on top.
- Roll tightly and wrap in butter paper/foil for serving.

- Serve hot with extra green chutney & ketchup on the side. Perfect as a snack, tiffin, or even dinner.
